By accessing or using Falcyn, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Falcyn provides court reporting workflow management and automation tools designed to streamline transcript processing, team collaboration, and client communications.
3. USER ACCOUNTS
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree to use Falcyn only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service
- Upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code
5. DATA AND PRIVACY
Your use of Falcyn is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your information.
You acknowledge and agree that, in the course of providing transcript-compliance services, Falcyn collects court reporter performance and behavioral data (such as delivery timeliness, lateness, no-shows, and compliance incidents) and that this data may be shared with Stenova, an affiliated court-reporter accountability service, to contribute to reporter records and scores, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, features, and functionality of Falcyn are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7. SERVICE MODIFICATIONS
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Falcyn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
9. TERMINATION
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
10. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delaware.
11. LITIGATION RECORDS AND PRIVILEGED MATERIALS
Falcyn is designed for court reporting professionals managing deposition transcripts and related litigation records. You are solely responsible for determining whether any materials you process through the service are subject to attorney-client privilege, work-product protection, or court confidentiality orders. Falcyn does not provide legal advice and is not a law firm. Nothing in these Terms or in the service constitutes legal advice.
